Baker & McKenzie recently received Chambers USA’s 2008 Award for Excellence for ‘Tax Team of the Year’.  Award winners were announced in New York earlier this month.  

“We are honored to be recognized for the strength and depth of our tax practice in North America.  This award is testament to our capabilities in providing the most sophisticated tax and economics services to our clients,” said Duane Webber, Chair of the North American Tax Practice Group of Baker & McKenzie LLP.  “We will continue to build on our strengths to further expand our ability to deliver best in class tax planning and controversy services to our clients in the United States and Canada, as well around the globe.” 

The Firm was chosen out of nine nominated law firms.  In addition, Baker & McKenzie’s Privacy and Data Security practice was also nominated for an award.
