Heller Ehrman Named Among PINK Magazine’s Top Companies for Women
Firm Ranked for a Second Consecutive Year as PINK Recognizes 13 Companies in 2008 List
Heller Ehrman LLP have announced that the firm has been named to PINK magazine’s list of Top Companies for Women for a second consecutive year. This year, PINK’s list will include 13 companies and it is scheduled to appear in the magazine’s September-October issue.
In 2007, Heller Ehrman was the only law firm named to PINK’s inaugural list of Top Companies for Women.
PINK compiled its 2008 Top Companies for Women list based on responses from America’s leading companies to nearly 100 questions and data points related to women’s advancement. Among the criteria the magazine evaluated: Power (women in board seats and C-suites, and those with profit and loss responsibility); Pipeline (leadership training, mentoring and coaching programs to retain and advance talented women); and Pay (evidence of pay equity, including the percentage of women in the top fifth of payroll).
“Heller Ehrman is committed to the ongoing career enhancement and professional development of its women professionals,” said Lynn J. Loacker, a shareholder in Heller Ehrman’s New York office and chair of the firm’s Gender Diversity Committee. “With the committee’s help, the firm has developed and implemented several policies that allow women at all levels to achieve their career goals. We are grateful to PINK magazine for recognizing our efforts for a second consecutive year.”
