Thompson Hine has received one of eleven World Class Customer Service Awards presented at a ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio. The annual awards program, sponsored by Smart Business magazine, recognizes companies for their dedication to customer service excellence. This year, the program included more than 75 entries, resulting in 30 finalists and individual winners in 11 categories. Thompson Hine won in the category of Customer Service Accountability. Judges chose Thompson Hine as the winner in this category for the firm's involvement of numerous clients and all firm personnel in the creation of its Client Service Pledge and associated service programs. Judges commented on the firm's use of regular third-party client satisfaction surveys, its creation of a formal client service team program, and intensive service excellence training for all personnel -- all leading practices in the legal profession. Thompson Hine is the first law firm to win this award.
